A Chicago native, M.J. Lanphier studied Architecture at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, in addition to studies at L’Ecole D’Architecture De Versailles, France in 2000.

8 years of professional interior design experience between New York City and Los Angeles led to the establishment of MJLID in 2004.
